Poker is a game of chance where players compete to make the best hand using any combination of their own cards and the community cards. Most poker games require a certain amount of betting in a given round. If a player is lucky enough to have the best hand, he or she takes the pot, if not, the pot goes to the next player in line. When the final betting round is completed, the winning hand is determined.

In poker, the “best” hand is generally a combination of the lowest ranked cards and a card that is high ranked. For instance, the lowest possible hand is a 7-5-4-3-2 with an ace in it, while a five of a kind is a five card hand made up of the lowest three cards plus an ace.

Other poker games feature more complex versions of the aforementioned rules. These include the draw poker and the stud poker. Drawing a card or having a hand that includes a pair of aces is the obvious homage to the famous poker hand.

Lastly, there is the bluff. A bluff is when a player makes a bet that they do not believe they will be able to win the pot. Another poker variant that uses a similar concept is the two-handed poker. While a pair of aces is the standard, a lima sama is a kartu that has a high nilai.
